What you would do
- Make the videos. 20 to 30 second vertical pieces from photos and clips we supply, to a written brief. Captions burned in, music bed, no voiceover. 48 hour turnaround.
- Build templates, not one-offs. The first video for a salon includes a reusable project file. Every video after that for that salon should be a swap, not a rebuild.
- Tell us when something is wrong. A missing asset, a brief that does not work, a format that reads flat. We would rather hear it than receive a workaround.
The person we are looking for
- You follow a brief exactly. Not approximately. If it says 2.5 seconds, it is 2.5 seconds.
- You ask instead of guessing. When a photo is missing you tell us. You never substitute something that looks close.
- You have opinions about short-form video and can explain them. Not just what you did, but why that cut and not a different one.
- You are reliable in a way that survives a bad week. Power cuts happen. Silence does not.
Requirements
- A portfolio of vertical short-form work you made yourself
- Fluent written English
- CapCut, Premiere or After Effects, your own licence
- Reliable power and internet, and a backup you can describe
This role is not for you if
- You find repetition unbearable. This is 100 or more videos a month, most of them variations on templates you built.
- You go quiet when something goes wrong. A late warning is fine. A silent missed deadline is not.
- You are looking for full-time work. This is 50 to 60 hours a month and we will not pretend otherwise.
